IQ-EQ achieves ISAE 3402 Type II accreditation in the Netherlands

IQ-EQ Netherlands is pleased to announce that it has achieved the highly respected International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402 Type II accreditation for its fund administration, giro and investor administration and depositary services businesses.

ISAE 3402 is a global assurance standard developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) for reporting on controls within a service organisation. Given fund managers’ increasing use of outsourcing, plus the growing emphasis on robust governance across the industry, attainment of this accreditation is becoming more and more crucial.

The ISAE Type II report issued to our Netherlands operations confirms the establishment and operation of effectively designed internal controls to achieve specified control objectives.

Luc Hollman, Managing Director of IQ-EQ Netherlands, commented:

“Obtaining the prestigious Type II accreditation is a significant milestone for our business. A well-known quality standard in our industry, it reflects the professionalism of our organisation and demonstrates to our clients and intermediary partners just how strong and effective our internal control environment is.

“Coupled with our group’s recent global expansion and bold rebrand, this accreditation gives us a fantastic foundation upon which we can continue to develop our service offering in the Netherlands, catering to the complex and growing needs of our clients both existing and new.

“Achieving Type II has required commitment, expertise and cooperation across our teams, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their incredible hard work and enthusiasm throughout the project.”

IQ-EQ Netherlands is the latest to join a growing list of IQ-EQ entities that hold the ISAE 3402 Type II certificate, with our previously accredited operations spanning Guernsey, Hong Kong, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Luxembourg, Mauritius, the Philippines, Singapore, the UK and USA.
